Unlike previous generations of this dynamic, the ability for either side to cope with their problems is in serious doubt. Assist in defining and applying a set of strategic, financial, and scientific criteria to help identify, evaluate and select the optimal Target(s)

Assist in conducting strategic, clinical and commercial evaluation of eligible Targets

Draft a robust and compelling description of the business case for marketing purposes

Assist in conducting Target due diligence, including intellectual property (“IP”), know-how and patents

Assist in preparing structured Target evaluation reports and recommendations for discussion and review by the Company's Board and management team

While the search for search for acquisition and licensing Targets is likely to intensify, the need for focus and efficiency has also, for the first time, become a principal concern for those in the sector. Consequently, we believe that the coming period will see a greater focus on out licensing of marginal products, sale of non-core businesses and MBOs.
